Applications are open for our Choral Workshop Day 2026

 

This year the Gonville & Caius College Choral Workshop Day will take place on Saturday 14th March 2026. This event is aimed at students in years 11 & 12, for university entrance in October 2027. 

The day will commence at 10.30am and end at 6.30pm after Choral Evensong, which parents/guardians are welcome to attend. During the day, the students will have the chance to: 

  • meet and chat to current choir members

  • get to know each other over lunch, which is provided

  • attend a Q&A with some key staff members and fellows who will talk about the process of applying to Cambridge/personal statements etc.

  • get some valuable advice about applying for a Choral Award and what it’s like to be part of the choir

  • learn more about musical life at Caius and the Music Society (GCMS)

  • sing Evensong with Caius Choir!


We ask that no more than three students per school are put forward at this stage and we will be in contact soon after to confirm their places. The closing date for signing up is Saturday 14th February 2026. Places are limited so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible.
