Far East Tour (December 2015)
In December 2015 members of the choir had a wonderful trip to Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Thailand.
The tour contained many different types of event including concerts, lunchtime recitals, workshops, carol services and private occasions, organised by Christine N Concerts. We stayed in some fine hotels (e.g. The Peninsula in Bangkok) and sang in some superb venues, notably the Victoria Concert Hall in Singapore. Amongst the music we sang was a new carol by Caian composer Cheryl Frances-Hoad that was commissioned by the BBC Music Magazine.
